Wakanyi Hoffman

Wakanyi Hoffman is a PhD Indigenous Scholar specialised in Ubuntu philosophy. She is the Head of Sustainable African AI Design at Inclusive AI Lab, Centre for Global Challenges, Utrecht University. She is also the founder of African Folktales Project, a teacher-led African Indigenous Knowledge Curriculum hosted on Ubuntu Education Hub. Her research seeks to integrate Ubuntu ethics into AI systems to promote an inclusive planetary flourishing.
